Only the good die Young

Reports are coming in from many people who swear Malcolm Yound died before November 2017. This is a little different to the usual celebrity death Mandela Effects though, because some are saying they heard this news as recently as a month earlier, rather than the usual "several years ago" pattern.

The rock legend was world famous as the co-founder, with his brother Angus, of AC/DC.

He'd been suffering from dementia for years, which along with other band's heath issues meant Angus was the only remaining member. At one point even Axl Rose from Guns n' Roses was drafted in as an emergency measure to finish a tour. Perhaps reports of his worsening health became misinterpreted as his death.

AC/DC

Having emigrated from Glasgow, Scotland in the UK where they were born, Malcolm formed AC/DC in 1973 with his brother Angus when he was 20. The name came from them seeing the letters "AC/DC" on the back of his sisters sowing machine. Malcolm Young went on to become regarded as the best rock rhythm guitarist in the world. They became legends in rock, touring with Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Scorpions, The Who and pretty much every otther big name in rock.

Young had several health issues, including lung cancer which was caught early enough to be treated. He also wore a pacemaker. In 2014 it was announced he was permanently retiring from the band. Shortly after it was announced he had severe dementia and was being cared for in a nursing home.

Malcolm, along with Angus, was the founder and creator of AC/DC. With enormous dedication and commitment he was the driving force behind the band. As a guitarist, songwriter and visionary he was a perfectionist and a unique man. He always stuck to his guns and did and said exactly what he wanted. He took great pride in all that he endeavored. His loyalty to the fans was unsurpassed.
